Public Transportation sections[edit]

I was just wondering what has been established about Public Transportation sections in street articles. It seems like an example of WP:NOTDIRECTORY to me. Just checking in here before I decided whether or not to take one out. Someone in SoCal Area (talk) 23:47, 18 May 2021 (UTC)

If the service follows the street for a significant distance, it warrants inclusion. A list of every bus stop and intersecting route would run afoul of NOTDIRECTORY, but mentioning the effects of the transit service on the street (e.g. reconstruction, lane configurations, ridership) would be encyclopedic.
